Since the book "The World Without Us" by Alan Weisman [link] came out much inquiry about what our legacy on planet Earth would be if we were to disappear has been made (our creations, the damage we have done.) This has inspired "Life After People," [link] which aired this year on the History Channel. Both of these suggested that the ugliest of our legacies would likely be around the longest (radioactive waste, air pollution, anything made out of plastic.) Some of this had already been suggested in the paintings of Alexis Rockman [link] [link] [link]
I'd really expected after that there would be alot more art pieces on
